A trip to China for work. It’s a home from home – apart from the smog. Which is nothing like the East Anglian air, oh the fresh Anglian air.

Here I have a jam packed 10 days of meeting joint project leaders, attending a symposium, trying to eat vegan food, trying to remember that Google doesn’t work and coping with jet lag. Day two, and the weather is nice and fresh – the sky still isn’t blue, and I’m in a laboratory near the Olympic Park, Beijing.
