In November, almost 18 months after it went onto the market I finally offloaded the house. I forgot to document it here. It was a giant relief, although tinged with a bit of sadness. It was six good years. A lovely place to live after a couple of years of chaos of renovation.

We’re only halfway through the renovation here in the East. But we have turned a significant corner, hit an exciting milestone with the installation of the back boiler wood burner, and the house has a hint of warmth now. Getting the capital out of the other house was well timed as the bills have started to roll in.

Just need to get the other boiler up and running and it will be summer, just in time to go into the sunshine.
